The Turkish Coalition of America would like to alert our members to the recent documentary that was aired on CNN, December 4, 2008.
The 2 hour special, "Scream Bloody Murder," discusses genocides of the 20th century. Due to inaccuracies that are often propagated in the mainstream media regarding the actions of the Ottoman Empire with regard to the Armenians from 1915 to 1918, TCA took action to ensure that our viewpoint was not silenced in the debate.
As an immediate action, TCA taped a series of questions by our Resident Scholar, Bruce Fein, which sought to highlight the need for debate and historical investigation with regard to this tragic period in history, rather than making prejudiced assumptions based on incomplete facts.
These videotaped questions can be viewed on either TCA's YouTube Channel at: www.youtube.com/turkishcoalition
or on our blog: www.turkeyamericablog.blogspot.com
We have also sent letters to the President and Managing Editor of CNN to make them aware of the views of TCA and the Turkish American community.
We encourage all of our members and friends to make their views known to CNN by sending their comments to:
