On March 13, 2015, TCA Project Coordinator Liz Clark participated in a panel about study abroad for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's (CHCI) leadership development program. She shared information about TCA's Study Abroad Scholarships for American Students of Minority and Heritage Communities and encouraged students to study abroad in Turkey. The panel was attended by Hispanic/Latino junior and senior college students who are spending the spring interning with Congressional offices through CHCI. Other panel participants included representatives from the George Washington University Study Abroad Department, the State Department Fulbright program, and Atlas Corps. Panelists discussed study abroad opportunities and funding and shared the benefits of studying abroad for students both personally and professionally.
