Students and faculty from the University of Kentucky Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce attended a reception commemorating the 34th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) at the Willard Hotel in Washington, DC on Wednesday, November 15. At the reception, they had the opportunity to speak with Turkish Ambassador Serdar Kilic, TRNC Representative Ismet Korukoglu, and members of the Turkish American community from the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Ambassador Kilic also invited the delegation to take a tour of the historic Turkish Ambassador’s Residence in Washington, DC.
