The TCA sponsored a delegation of professors to visit Turkey in order to increase minority students participation to study abroad programs to Turkey. From January 7 through the 18, these professors and administrators had the opportunity to experience the rich culture and heritage of Turkey and visit with a number of the top universities in Turkey. Over the course of the trip, the delegation had the opportunity to meet with high level members of the Turkish government as well as the newly appointed US Ambassador to Turkey. The Turkish Coalition of America sponsors 100 partial scholarships per year to Turkey for minority students across the nation.
