The 2011 Annual Report of TCA is now available online.
The Report highlights the many programs, projects and grants of TCA in 2011.
Of the program areas, TCA Youth and Education programs received the largest allocation of TCA funds in 2011.
G.Lincoln McCurdy, TCA President stated this on the occasion: "Since 2007, TCA strives to make a meaningful contribution to advancing the role of civil society in strengthening relations between the United States and Turkey. 2011 was a year of significant growth for TCA, where many TCA programs and partnerships matured. Building on this momentum, we reached several important milestones in 2012, including making the Caucus on US-Turkey Relations and Turkish Americans one of the largest caucuses in Congress, currently at 154 members. Also, for the first time, a House Bill, inspired by TCA's efforts to build bridges between Turkey and American Indians (H.R. 2362), was introduced in Congress that gives special recognition to Turkey. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the TCA board and staff, as well as all of our partners in the Turkish American community and beyond for their contributions to our common work."
